TOUT n’est toujours pas un sandwich.
Galerie Sans Nom, Moncton.
July 14th to September 1st, 2017
“By mobilizing various references belonging to different universes and cultures, I manipulate the objects and representations that surround us and reorganize them so as to elaborate a microculture inside the gallery. Within the same work, I combine sculptures, found objects, photographic images and drawings, thus deliberately blurring the reading that one can experience from each of these elements. Taken individually, each participating item in my works is easily comprehensible, the reading becomes more complex in the correlation of several artistic objects. The assembly thus generates a form of unknown. This dichotomy between the known and the unknown prevents the works from having rigid contours, but rather invoke the mind to waver between different trains of thoughts.”
